What Is Radiesse®?
Radiesse is a biostimulatory filler that contains calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA). CaHA particles integrate into your skin and create a “scaffold” that stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, helping to bring a natural fullness and youthful appearance to the skin. Dr. Day at OneSkin Dermatology uses Radiesse to improve sagging skin around the cheeks, jawline, neck, and chest.
What Is “Hyperdilute” Radiesse?
Hyperdilute Radiesse is simply Radiesse (calcium hydroxyapatite) that has been thinned out with a mixture of saline solution and Lidocaine. This diluted mixture is injected into specialty areas such as the neck and chest where the skin is showing sagging and looseness. The calcium hydroxyapatite molecules in Radiesse then stimulate the body to build new collagen. This naturally firms and improves the area, adding volume to the sagging area and improving the skin texture that looks natural.
Dr. Day has advanced cosmetic training in the use of hyperdilute Radiesse for neck and chest rejuvenation. The neck and décolleté are challenging areas to produce natural long lasting cosmetic enhancements. At OneSkin Dermatology Dr. Day will walk you through the best treatment plan to address your concerns. Combination treatments with IPL (intense pulsed light), microneedling or neurotoxin further improve the overall result of this treatment.

"This place is unlike any other dermatology practice that I've ever been to, and I mean that in the best way! The staff is extremely pleasant. My first visit was two days before my birthday and every single person I encountered wished me happy early birthday. But, more importantly, the care they give is top notch. They are all informative and obviously care about the well-being of your skin. So glad to have found them!"- E.C. / Google / Jul 03, 2022
Who benefits from Hyperdilute Radiesse treatment?
Ideal candidates are anyone who has started to notice etched lines in the neck (“tech neck”) and décolleté, subtle sagging of neck skin, or crepe-like texture to the neck and chest skin. With hyperdiluted Radiesse, Dr. Day is able to gradually tighten and thicken targeted areas of skin, creating smoother, firmer, younger-looking skin on areas treated. It’s an exciting new treatment that can correct a wider range of aesthetic problems, including crepe-like skin, skin laxity, and even areas of cellulite (coming soon!). It does this naturally through the body’s own collagen production.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
Dr. Day recommends two initial treatment sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart with a possible third treatment session to achieve the aesthetic effects desired. After your initial treatment result maintenance is recommended with one hyperdilute Radiesse treatment every 12-18 months!
What Results Can I Expect from Radiesse® Treatments?
Radiesse treatment stimulates the body to produce new collagen. The production of collagen drops by 1% every year after our 20th birthday. That means by the age of 45, our skin is supported by 25 percent less collagen; that’s why it’s about that time when wrinkles, lines, and areas of volume loss start to show up.
Difficult to treat areas like the jawline, neck and chest that sag or show crepe-like skin can be restored with these treatments. Results will be visible at the time you leave the office with ultimate results 1 month following last treatment session once the body has had time to stimulate collagen and elastin formation!
